Haha 😂 the stickers the easy bit,, I’ve got spares

So, no idea at all as yet why it’s happened,, maybe when I have a new window fitted, they can tell me a story about it

So a man gets a second job to help out building up the coffers,, and the first weeks wages have just been well and truely shot to ****. New glass from LR at this point is between $1000 - $1300. I guess then there’s the fitting of it to come

I haven’t spoken with either the insurance mob or a windscreen mob yet,, so will wait to hear what they have to say before I have hissy fit over it all

Bugger, that’s a ****... Like others have said, wonder how it happened.... Stick Sully in the car for the night - if anyone’s trying to break into it, he’ll sort them out. 👍

That, or he can come live with me - that’s a good option too... 😉😇

Oh, will be around Saturday morning picking up my I’ll gotten gains - will call you, not sure what shifts you’re working.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

My D1a did that a few years ago. Parked on a rural property, backed up against the shed and I know that no-one got near it. Overnight it just completely shattered. The tint held it all together, thankfully. No signs of impact, nothing disturbed or out of place. Took a couple of goes to get the correct glass fitted. The first one had the high mount brake light mask upside down! Glad the insurance covered that whole debacle...

Had a windscreen on the old Volvo wagon crack for no reason, too. No rust or impact. Just suicide...

Anyway, tough luck right there. I think it's just one of those things that can happen randomly. If there's no starred propagation point (external impact or point load) then it's likely just internal stresses getting too much. Bugga.

Is there any freshly mown lawn close by? Maybe a lawnmower or whipper snipper fires a stone at it?

    Bloody arseholes,,

I had a Ute stolen many years ago, but as I’d just had the trans out, and hadn’t yet put the right amount of fluid back in, they didn’t in fact get very far, even though they had smashed the window and managed to drive off.
Had great delight and amusement when I told the cops 👮*♂️ there was blood everywhere , coppers had a good laugh too
