Any references to how good the TRW ceramic pads are? How do they compare price wise to “std” pads?

I'm finding them excellent. Very smooth and sure under the foot. I don't stress over dust but am seeing very little so far.
Heaps cheaper than LR pads. I bought online from UK GBP 47 front 34 rear. One of them, I can't recall which included new shims but I'd purchased separately anyway.
At the time earlier this year I couldn't find the ceramic model of the TRW in this part of the world.

I agree, all delivered through DBA, Slotted Disks front and rear. Ferrodo pads, don't care about the dust.

I was surprised how easy it was to change them out, (basically 1 retaining bolt), very simple and minimum effort required to change disks.
    Very happy with the results.

Does this mean then that the Ferodo pass are dusty as well, like the Bendix ones. Looks like the TRW ceramics are low dust.

Are the DBA slotted T2 and TRW ceramic pads the best option then?

~$110 for the TRW ceramic on Sparesbox currently.
Supposedly the TRW GDB1898 is the pad for a 3.0L with large front brakes ( but I’m trying to verify this before I order some).

The Ferodo thermoquiet pads for the D4 are here:
FERODO BRAKE PADS FRONT DB2203FTQ | eBay

(I used the Bendix website to cross reference the DB part number)

Here are the part numbers I bought and fitted:
GDB1898DTE TRW LOW DUST CERAMIC FORMULA FRONT BRAKE PADS
GDB1632DTE TRW LOW DUST CERAMIC FORMULA REAR PADS

The DTEC variant is the ceramic compound. I had to source from UK.

Thanks heaps. Made me realise I’d ordered the normal variant not DTEC from Sparesbox - cancelled the order. Now typically I cannot find the right variant in stock anywhere including the UK (without £100 shipping).
Realised I can get them from Island 4x4. Getting a shipping quote.
