Thread: Message Centre date?

Hi all. Am currently driving a 2010 D4 while my D1 is having the txfr case reraced. Finding out a lot about it and realize that this is why LR call them Discovery...because every time you look, in the handbook you discover something else this complex piece of machinery does.

One thing that has me beat though is the date at the bottom left of the message centre... what's that about? Can't find anything in the handbook about it. Thought it might be the build date as this one shows year 2010. However a mate has a 2016 model and the date in his is March next year. So I'm thinking it could be the next service date and if so then the one I'm driving has never been reset after services as it has had dealership and Indy services.

Any ideas?

Go into the setup screen on the head unit and set the date. This is where it is displayed.
