Can an IID Tool be used to put the vehicle into TTM?

Is there a LR spec? i.e. does Rave exist for the D4 and state it?

The Beissbarth alignment machines I use have Discovery 3 target data specifications, which is identical to the D4. If that's what you mean by "LR spec"??

I just checked my GAPIID Tool when I got back from a drive.

The steps are: Service Test/RLM-Suspension/Set Tight Tolerance. There's another setting to disengage TTM too in the same spot.

    Thumbs up Thanks

Thanks for all the responses and advice. I get the point to leave well enough alone, and as there are no signs on the present set of tyres that the alignment is out, I'll keep an eye on the new set and perhaps all is good. I've had some bad experiences with wheel alignment on the D4, thus my search for recommended local businesses.

    Sorry for the slow response.

As far as I'm aware the GAP IID tool is one of the most potent diagnostic tools out there, especially if you purchased the VIN License for your car. It can get into more things than the Australian dealers' tool can. It can definitely put the car in TTM.

However, the other edge to blade is, if you start friggin with the configuration settings, I believe you can seriously screw the car up......so be careful how and where you play.
