    Re: GAP iid tool

Hi, just got a question in relation to the GAP IID Tool. I had it finally last year since I was grounded due to restricted performance, the suspension dropped to access height and made it impossible to pass the rocky terrains. Just wondering what the tool do it for me if it happens again, clear the fault and return to the off-road height which I need the most? I also had other occasions dropped the speed to 50km due to unknown restricted performance where I was 600km from home. How does the tool really help apart from fault finding, or temporarily clear the fault. I suppose it all depends on what triggers the fault, it does give me the uncertainty when traveling in outback or distance from the road side assistance.

    cheers,
    Gary

As you have said mainly clearing the fault/s and pinpointing what caused the fault in the first place. I'm not sure if you can override the height once its dropped due a fault, guess it depends on what the fault is.
