    Fuse location?

These 2 USB’s in my centre consoles don’t work. Would anyone know which fuse controls them? I’m assuming it’s the fuse box behind the glovebox?

    Thanks Fuse location?

I didn’t think of that! I examined the pics on the inside of the fuse box for what seemed like ages, and I pulled about 6 that looked promising. Who was the numpty that put a fuse box in that retarded hard to get to place?

    Fuse 55 looks promising

I believe they are directly connected into the entertainment system.

When you say “don’t work” you mean can’t connect and charge a phone or can’t connect and play music.

Yes, that’s right. If I plug something in to either I get nothing. I figured it was a fuse, but I had trouble finding it. I think 55 was the only 1 that I haven’t checked!

It won't be 55, but could be powered by either 21, 64 or 68. But I agree with Tombie, if you look at the available wiring diagrams (and I can't find any mention of USB ports) they will be powered through the controlling unit (like Audio Unit 64, Touch Screen Display 68 or perhaps even Central Switch Pack 21 - the NAS head unit is powered through this).
In any event, IMO, for the USBs not to work due to a blown fuse, the controlling unit won't be working either.
I suspect your fault may lie with the controlling unit. Perhaps a software upgrade may help?

Come to think of it. Why don't you lift the usb panel in your pic and see if the cables have come loose? It seems odd that both are not working.

What are you trying to charge?

Mine won't charge an iPad,but fine with any type of iPhone.

For the iPad i have to use a USB charger in the cig lighter, all OK.

Just trying to charge my iPhone. It’s not fuse 55, and there are no other faults with the audio system. I’ll try lifting the USB panel
