You had a three battery setup, giving you around 160Ah available, and with your 180 amp alternator, you would have had all three batteries back over 95% in less than 90 minutes.
It's simple math. Why on earth did you go backwards?????????????????????????????????
I know [emoji12] it’s a big difference.
Whilst I cannot see the point of Lithium start batteries I have a few other items to fit and will need some real estate up the front, so setting up for the Lithium weight loss program that will commence soon (both camper and D4) - I didn’t want to go this direction - but it solves a couple of challenges.
The solar panel install will negate some of the draw, so some of the imbalance will be corrected.
I’m also curious to see exactly how it behaves - I got the unit for nix so throw it in and give it a trial - it’s being monitored and the batteries data logged as it goes.
The vehicle isn’t primarily in need of Aux power, a fridge and a few USB devices is basically it’s limit when camping. With the camper is attached it (the camper) has more than enough power to charge the house and vehicle batteries.
