Yes, very aware of the mass issue, it's not easy making decisions about what to take and what to leave and being discplined about not exceeding the various limits.

Mate you seem to know what you are doing, I wouldn't stress too much about the weight, just enjoy the trip.
If you're spending a few days in Alice, take a drive out to Palm Valley and maybe the Impact Crater and a Gorge or two, I love it out there.

Adding some accessory lights the way they should have been. I remember I had the hood lights on my Chrysler back in 1996.
Hi Narangga, yes we did, actually planned our visit to see it, and it was excellent, listened to some stories, music and a watched a wonderful light and art show. As I was walking around I couldn't but wish I had the grandies with us.
Truely worth a visit next year.

With my wife teaching and the April NT School holidays only being one week we haven't made it to the festival yet. [bigsad] I might have to start sowing some seeds for 2023...
In 2018 we went out to the East Macdonnell ranges camping and visited Arltunga. Incredible considering everything. From there we made our way via what is basically the Binns Track back up to the Plenty Highway and then headed home.
