Another blown engine. SDV6 tilt trayed back to Moree. Now have to get it and my caravan to Toowoomba. Fortunately I have RACQ Ultimate membership.
What to do when I get it all back to Toowoomba.
Anyone got a spare motor?
Sitting on the side of the Newell Highway for 3 hours in 39C heat halfway between Moree and Boggabilla grows whiskers fairly quickly I can tell you.

If it’s a 3L which I assume by SDV6 I think it’s a scrapyard jobbie sadly. Most Discos die by engine not rear end crashesQuote:

Ouch, no wonder I get so torn with mine, sadly good service intervals doesn’t fix a design issue and the engines are crap, simple as that
