I’ve gone green also. It’s incredible how new the car feels with a new battery it literally jumps into life. Must get the proper glow plug cycle.Originally Posted by Narangga;[emoji639

Super ModeratorTook a run down to Margaret River for the LWE. I've been noticing a very slow drop in the rear for a few years, so monitored the gallery pressure on a long drive and looks like the rear valve block is leaking.
I did the front and center blocks when I did the desiccant a few years ago but didn't do the rear because frankly it looked like a pig to get at. Suppose I'd better put it on the list, but it's not getting any worse so it can wait.
Can't believe the transformation with the new clutch/flywheel. Feels like a different car to drive. Those DMF must just gradually get looser as they wear. Even the injector balance has improved.

I didn't notice this morning as left in a hurry to get into town and drop it off on the way to work. Small coolant leak in the front right wheel well which has been diagnosed as the (plastic) heater pipe/s. Will take it back to have them replaced once the new pipes arrive.

Those I didn’t replace when I replaced everything else so send a photo if you can. The small barb at top of radiator for the coolant bottle is the usual culprit. My temp sensor was also weeping as one of the barbs had broken.
Small update following the EGR coolant circuit delete which has been almost a year now. In normal driving I notice no difference temp rises and sits in middle. On the recent long trip I noticed when driving at 20-40 kmh for extended periods across large hard clay pans with very little rolling resistance in cool outside temps the temp needle would settle lower. I don’t recall seeing that prior. As soon as you stepped on the gas or hit a bit of sand straight back to middle position.
Cheers, Dale
