Yep same TDV6 and some same old issues like cam pulleys exploding, not heard of any crank issues though.

That'd be awkward to arrange. D3 until D4 2.7L crank and oil pump, then D4 3L until D5 & end of manufacture crank. One would hope they have it sorted for the Ford Ranggas, but they don't. As far as I can tell, the 2.7L D4 is the only vehicle not to grenade without warning.
After much soul searching I have decided to keep my D4. The D5 just seems so noisy and the rear seats do not lay flat. I really wanted a RR Sport but the tow pack now includes a hide away tow ball not a square hitch!! FFS!! So looking at RRSport electric seats so I can have the arm rests. Issue is all the seats that I have seen are not the same stich pattern as mine. So what year RRsport should I be looking for? Then one wrecking yard said if all you want are the arm rests just buy some wrecked seats unscrew the arms and fit to my seats. Evidently they are a bolt on the side of the seat frame. I can feel a round hole in the sponge on the side of my seat but wonder is there a welded bolt on the frame. Any one here know? thanks. My Car is 2016 May build D4 Graphite
