I have been monitoring this in fear for 30 plus years on a range of vehicles but never had a problem with it dulling anything or stripping grease in the concentration of a cap in a bucket I use to wash the car. For heavily soiled areas like suspension and wheels and underbody areas I use higher concentrations in a pump bottle.

I still do a light annual polish but the paint work looks great all year.

It’s best at cleaning up the engine bay. Pump a mist of 10 to 1 CT18 over the area and let sit then wash with a light sprinkle of water (I leave the cover on over the engine).

I thought I heard a noise while driving down south like some tree debris hitting the roof. If anyone has one in WA ready to go let me know.

    D3 Replacement Key Fob

    Seasons Greetings Disco 3/4 Owners,
the key pad on the D3 cracked, as is their want.
it’s important to replace them quickly to avoid the ingress of dirt and moisture, to the micro switch and circuit board zone.
I purchased THIS ONE FROM EBay. https://ebay.us/m/KtVAzA
    and replaced it today.
The two halves snap together nicely and are held together with a tiny screw, rather than glue. (See pic.)
The supplied key blank came out easily with a 1mm punch and I replaced it with my old one.
Spring action is decisive. So far, so good.
    Happy New Year Comrades.

Sorry mate, I kept my tail lights when they were replaced, but not the centre one as I think they have to break them to get them out, due to being glued in.

Yesterday i swapped out the EAS compressor for a spare as i was getting the "suspension raising slowly message "and C1130-66 DTC and front dropping occasionally , opened the drier and found the desiccant is starting to breakdown.
Put it thru a sieve and stuck the rest in the oven to dry out, the swap didn't solve the problem so borrowed a front valve block off a mate so i can swap that over and see how we go.
I do have a 4x4 airseals oring kit for all the valve blocks so will rebuild mine and swap it back in, new desiccant ordered for both compressors.

I wonder as being LED if the D3 will accept it.

Recall some advice here on what Sika product works best.

LED's are fine everywhere except for the indicators, wouldn't want filament bulbs in there as it would be a nightmare to replace each time.
