I have used ULR (2nd service) and Rova Range ever since. I was not happy at 1st with Rova Range, as one item was done off site and I had nothing but problems with it. Namely the windscreen needed to be replaced and pillar covers were not attached with OEM clips and then only 2clips per side. Only noticed because my snorkel was flapping around. Also the rear view mirror plastic cover fell off. After returning it to Rova Range and 2 hours later I told them to stop as their dirty mechanic had put grease and oil stains on my roof liner, and I fixed it myself. Since then I have told Jason (owner) that if he cannot do the work in his shop he is not to send it out, but tell me and I will arrange to get it done. Hence he told me my car will be due for a transmission flush and oil change (as I tow a van frequently) and that the best place to have that done is A & B Transmission in Dandenong. He is by far cheaper than ULR and uses genuine OEM parts and castrol oil. Every time I have had it serviced there (I do the 12K service myself) he has changed the rear pads. I now get my own and the sensor wire and do them myself as the price I get them for is half what he charges. One might ask why do I then use him? Its because he has picked up other matters that I would not have known about or perhaps checked. So I pay for his knowledge of what to look out for on a D4 especially one that gets a fair bit of hard work towing and 4WD use. He also has a loan car so that also helps.
