The OP hasn’t said if it’s 2.7 or 3L? BAS told me 3L is ECU out so they couldn’t help with OBD programming.

Its easy to do, reach out to BAS.

As with all modern vehicles a good diagnostic tool is important and handy - if you get the GAP IID you'll be able to have BAS write a map for engine tune, EGR removal or both.
If you dont want full diagnostics the BAS RRC tool does engine fault clearing / reading and remapping.

I'd suggest their software - its one of the best out there.

The Gap IID is brilliant, calibrate suspension, clear service, fault checking/clearing, custom CCF modifications, ECU updates etc..
Agree with this. I also have the GAP IID tool and it has got me out of trouble more than once. My D4 is also a 2011 TDV6. It just had its "mid-life" (timing belts and full transmission service with new pan) last week - done locally in Kal.

    Hey Mike,
With the GapIID unit, how does it work, via a laptop or on the in car screen? I was going to get a Nanocom.
    Cheers

It can interact with the in car screen (poorly) so you connect to it via Bluetooth on your mobile via their app.

Mobile or tablet are your best bet.

Rudimentary controls from the menu screen are available.
