Thread: Turned 200k today..

Thought I'd post a quick update. MY12 HSE clicked over 200k km today during a 2 week touring holiday of tasmania towing our rebuilt 2003 UEV 345 camper trailer.

Disco is in overall good condition and im hoping to get another 100k before looking for a replacement.

Apart from the usual maintenance- front LCAs, transmission pan and regular changes, and a dodgy fuel sender in the tank which needed to be replaced recently it's been a reliable vehicle, albeit serviced regularly by myself. Probably needs new struts soon and getting a slight knocking from the steering column on corrugated roads that suggests the lower column may need to be replaced.

Car is both a daily driver, tow tug, regular bush camper and family tourer, did a lot of research before purchase at 125k and was and still is the most suitable, comfortable and capable vehicle for my needs.

As much as Rovers get bagged by other drivers, and owners at times, it needs to be taken into perspective with the complexity and capability of this vehicle, and with regular preventative maintenance proves to be a great asset.
