I did have some probs. with the Maxxis though. One had a different make date than the other 4 when I bought a complete set. I did query it and got told it made no difference.
However it was the one which had the most punctures when doing an off road trip and the repairers reckoned it had air coming out through the tread in numerous places.
I complained to Maxxis and claimed a replacement under their "warranty" only to find out that it didn't cover off road tyres off road. :O
In the end I got a replacement for a 100 bucks but am a bit wary of having them if I get 18" rims which is on the cards. Having said that I was quite happy with their Bravos on a Prado I had years ago.
If I keep the 19" rims I may go for the General Grabbers I've had on Defenders and they've been good.
AlanH.
I wouldn’t use them if I was on 18”. So many other choices.

I have used Pirelli Scorpions on D2 and General Grabber AT2 on the D2. Grabbers were very good. Scorpions were very good too but older pattern to current one.
Cheers
When the 18inch HT on my Triton wear out I may well go Duratrac. I drove my D2 today and the Duratracs handle nicely.
Cheers
Just snagged myself a set of (5) Compomotives in gunmetal grey, mint condition, with (4) near new 285/60R18 Cooper Zeon’s - all told $1,500!
Pretty pleased. Might sell the tyres (pretty popular on Landcruisers I hear) and get something a little narrower that doesn’t rub on full-lock
