*Myself and another Land Rover workshop near by have had numerous cracked Compomotive wheels.
*What I had thought was the same wheels are from 2 different manufacturers... MOAG OR Compomotive
*Both supplied by 4wd1.com
*Tuffant, as I said, i really dont know what / if there was an issue, i had thought there was a post on here somewhere...
Regards

I’m tending towards Tuffant but as we’re not going anywhere for who knows how long, I’ll get max wear out of the Maxxis it’s wearing at the mo.
Then maybe I’ll do something...... or buy another vehicle. 😉 If the Cook will let me. 😳

Never had an issue with the stock 19 rims. I might pay a few extra $$ for the tyre size but for me no where near the need to change rims. I just take an extra tyre on outback trips and I'm sorted.

I like that idea actually. As I get older I’d rather spend money on other things than damn vehicles and their tyres which only really go off road a couple of times a year.

I’ve got Maxxis LT 980 but am not impressed. I’ll go for General Grabbers next time as I had good runs with them on a Defender and Prado.
As the vast majority of my future mileage is going to be mostly on the “bitch” or gravel I won’t need anything too aggressive or for mud work etc.

SubscriberTombie on here runs Simmons wheels, another good option.
ive done 198,000km on 19”rims, I’ve run wranglers, Cooper Zeons and now Maxxis LTs, been everywhere on all types of roads and surfaces, no issues. Tyre pressure and rotation is key. I get about 70k kms from a set of tyres before I replace them.
