I suspect that your tyres were the ATR, not the replacement AT+ which is quite different. My 275/55R20 LI 113 aren't fazed by fast, harsh local and outback gravel and D3/D4 owners with the 255/55R19 LI111 size give good reports for outback travel too. Whilst I destroyed one by driving into a lump of limestone on a Nullabor track that also bent the outer lip of the rim, I expect that no tyre would have survived that incident.

So, this sounds like the perfect 19" tyre for my driving which is about 85% bitumen and 15% dirt (not offroad) roads. I am hoping to "do" the Flinders Ranges and other similar type dirt roads next year and am looking for a quiet ish tyre for my mostly bitumen use but stronger than a 100% based bitumen road tyre for the occasional dirt road driving. My son had the AT+ on his D3 for about 5k prior him selling it recently and they seemed quiet and responsive.

If Pirelli had produced them in 255/60R19 LI 113 as they planned (they had allocated the product code) then I would swap to 19" rims on my L322 to get just a little more sidewall than the 255/55R19 and smaller diameter than my 20".
