No idea with GAP, sorry. With Nanocom's Genesis you can find and edit it in the CCF file. I'm sure there'll be a way with the GAP tool.

You didn’t read my post Recalibrating the speedo

On a D3 you ONLY adjust the tyre radius.

Oops! Sorry all for being misleading. I hadn't realised it was a D3.

Can I recalibrate the speedo with my Gap tool?
If so, can someone point me in the right direction? I can’t find anything in the Gap tool manual.
Tyre size worked for my 2011 D4
find Tyre Size MSB - IPC

I went from 31 to 33 to get it spot on with the 19's that were fitted at the time.
Changed that same parameter when I went to 18's, but I can't recall what value I had to use.
If at first you don't succeed, that's one data point. - xkcd

Car Configuration File. It is the primary binary file that contains the parameters of the car and is referenced by other ECUs. Each ECU has it's own software version, too.
There are some parameters that you can edit if you have a suitable tool, like a Nanocom or a GAP.
You can do simple changes like removing the leading zero on the odometer (up to 100,000kms) so that it displays 75028km instead of 075028km. Or more tricky stuff like calibrating the speedo on a D4 or adding new features to your car like upgraded sound systems or even an e-diff (but you also need the hardware, wiring and upgraded ECU software and a bit of luck as well).
