    just out of interest please, what’s the round tubular thing under the centre of the tank?

    Probably a bit late but we had one of those for a Simpson/Hay river trip with two kids in the back. Worked a treat, as others have said was a bit of a nuisance when the level got below the hump and I only had a hose on one end. I just lifted it up to move the water. We didn't need to secure it as it didn't move.

    Not moving during general driving is one thing, however it becomes a problem in an accident, particularly a roll over.... loose objects inside the car could be the difference between the family walking away and something worse...

    great advice. Not tying it down because it fits is simple error I would have made as well.
