Good chance the bags will handle the ball weight.

I am pretty sure that 350kg is the max allowed also how heavy is the van when loaded because 380kg suggests that it is also over the 3.5t limit as well.

Max ball weight is 350kg - so 380kg is too heavy and not appropriate to tow at that weight.

I’d be more concerned about being 80kg over on the ball weight. If you have an accident that the insurance company feels is due to overload you will have all sorts of insurance grief.

I saw your van on Facebook and it's monster, really don't know what possess people to tow such behemoths around.

And the law if there is a serious injury or a fatality involved.
I read on the NSW Police News website last year that a fellow was charged because of an incident where a Prado he was driving, resulted in the death of two of his passengers.
The caravan being towed was too heavy for the Prado, plus the towbar wasn't rated for the weight of the van.
Not sure what the outcome of the courtcase was though.
Cheers, Mick.

Is there a tolerance allowed? There is for heavy vehicles, but it's best not to rely on it.
If you're going to run heavy, make it worthwhile.![]()
