Will put this on hold for the moment, not too many clues on offer anyway. Having fitted the bar and connected all the lights, seems the bullbar indicator is working but not the main one. Needs further investigation.

I am in the process of fitting a bullbar to my 2015 SDV6 Discovery and having tapped into the front RH indicator wire it now is not working. All other RH indicator lights work (rear and Mirror) but there is no power on the required wire, it was working before splicing into it.
I can't locate any appropriate fuse so any clues, hints or advice would be appreciated.
As a side note as I could not find much installation info on the Bullbar install. I am writing up how I did it and will post latter. The ARB information is pretty good but as previously stated the OL info is woeful.

Hang on . You said you had no power to the wire doe the front indicator yet the indicator on the bullbar is working. Sounds like you disconnected the original indicator rather than splicing into it ????.

Exactly, I went on the plug pin and peeled the wire to test on the supply side of the join, no voltage. Was using a test lamp.
It is a bit confusing to say the least. Am almost done fitting the bar so will get that out of the way and look further into it.

My ARB Bar has relays installed for the indicators in the bar. (Normal Bulbs)
The existing indicators don't have fuses, they are driven directly from FETs (transistor switch) in the Central Junction Box. One each for the front and rear. The indicator on the mirror are driven from the Driver/Passenger door modules.
These FET things are sort of smart and shutdown if too much current is drawn, tell the CPU if not enough is drawn, shorted to battery or ground.
I think once they shutdown, they stay shut down until they are reset, I am guessing this happens the next time you start the car as part of the system checking.(If they are now Ok)
Probably an incandescent bulb in the bar draws too much current, even your test lamp and shuts it down. You may need relays.
So during troubleshooting/testing you need to be aware they may go away if you do something they don't like and will probably recover on a restart.

Thanks Gerry, that explains the fuse thing (or lack of) and perhaps why it is working again most appreciated.
Having looked further into it the globe is fine, that was an exercise in itself working out how to remove it.
It now seems I have a dodgy connection on the plug into the headlight assembly so will have to remove the bull bar to get a proper look at it as I now can't get it fully out. Just as well being in good old Melbourne I can't go anywhere...

Forgot to mention, the Opposite lock bar has led indicators.
OldGuy, you don't need to remove the OL bullbar to remove the headlight assemblies. Simply take off the rubber/plastic moulding that bolts onto the bar in front of the headlights. The light assembly can then be tilted and maneuvered out through the front of the bar.

Right hand indicator is working again, had to remove the headlight assembly and give the indicator pin a tiny bend. Was a bit daunting as if it had broken it would have been a new assembly. however all good.
Here is a photo of my OL bar under the headlight. Is that the area that has been referred to?

Anyway now sorted and back together. Thanks for the feedback
