GOE were only Compomotive brand which are still available but nothing fits over the Brembo disc brake and calliper package I understood. Same for Tuffant.

I have compomotive 18s on my L322 with brembos. I don’t know what brakes were fitted to the MY10 RRS. But 20s with 265/50s would probably be ok.

I would love to stand corrected. I thought the TDV8 brakes were even bigger than the SDV6 size and nothing fitted certainly none of the Tuffants

2010 discovery vs 2010 Range Rover sport

    My L322 3.6 tdv8 with 18” Compomotives.

I had a look at the online DBA catalogue, which might be a reasonable guide (as callipers will be different). It indicates 360mm front rotors for my tdv8 L322 and both RRS 2010 tdv8/tdv6 diesels. So it’s possible Compos may fit RRS tdv8.

The front brakes on a 4.4 TDV8 (MY11-12) are indeed larger than the 3.0's and Compomotives don't fit.

Microcat shows the same 2-piston sliding calliper for the MY10 RRS TDV8, 5.0 na and the TDV6. The 5.0 SC has Brembo that appears to have 6 pistons.

Thanks Graeme, so looks like the larger callipers rule out the Compo rims?

    FWIW I am one of the few running a 2011 RRS(after a 2007 d3), towing an off-road Caravan (2.2t)...

on the road since June... been to Cameron’s corner, Birdsville, the dig tree, Haddons corner, Lawn hill np, The cape, parts of the OTT(towing the van too which was fun), etc...

everything said to date rings true...

just wanted to add that I’ve fitted into the rrs:
    - a single drawer(it fitted with 5mm to spare)...
    - a fridge (without slide, and yes it is a Pia to get into)
    - uhf - GME tx3350
    amongst others...

reason for the rrs... it was cheaper than the equivalent D4... and it meets my needs as the van holds most of my stuff...

    cheers,
    AP

I have a 08MY tdv8 RRS and have been on some offroad trips with friend that had a D4.

D4 had heaps more space in the back but we still had plenty of space for our gear.

The RRS is shorter and so has better ramp over, ie at the same height settings the D4 occasionally grounded in the middle where we didn't. Not by much though.

The RRS has ediff and the D4 didn't. On steep loose rocky hills, the D4 would start to spin rear wheel and needed a bit of extra throttle before sorting out traction, while the RRS just smoothly went up.

Having driven both cars, the D4 is more comfortable, the RRS handles better on the road. ie the RRS comfort level is un RangeRover-ish.

I checked with NSW RTA, if a bullbar doesn't specifically have label fitted saying it is made for a particular model car it is not legally approved. Even though the Disco bars will fit the RRS and some people use them, there may be issues if it comes to an accident and insurance. :-(

I have the compomotive 18" wheels obtained from GOE on my 3.6 tdv8. I have seen somewhere else selling the compomotive wheels now but don't recall who. There is also someone selling steel 18" to suit.
