Just remember you don’t have more power or torque, just using less throttle to achieve the same effect.
In the most aggressive mode, at 40% throttle you now get 100%. Of course if you push the throttle further it now has no effect.
This is why it seems so brilliant when fitted. Replaces the granny ankle for a teenager ankle.
Bit of advice please, I recently purchased an idrive controller plugged it in and it works great, car came up with reduced performance yesterday so first port of call was the idrive. Found it was not plugged securely into the peddle unit, no amount of wriggling pushing etc seems to get it to firmly seat home.
any hints, advice or whatever would be appreciated. I have checked and all the pins are straight and the vehicle loom plug goes in with no problems,

Mine was a bit tight but you definitely don’t want to force and do some damage.
Might be a good idea to remove the pedal unit so you can see what happens when you fit the pedal plug to the adapter.
Otherwise best to contact Ultimate9 (new name for iDrive) for advice.
