    Great time to also replace the black flexible harness conduit pieces that have crumbled away due to heat. Crumble to dust when you touch them.

    Yeah there's not other much left of them. Theres gotta be better options than the split tubing I think, something that doesn't crumble to pieces in a few years would be nice

    Well done Shane. Re washing down / hosing down the valley, id be suctioning out what i could, avoid getting water anywhere near the valley, especially just before pulling the oil cooler out. Clean out the last bit with compressed air gun.

    I’m trying to find a few of those quick connectors online to have ready incase the break like Shane’s. Anyone know the specs?

    The quick connectors are marked STAR. Googling star fuel connector or star quick connector I can find a few items around, but theres different sizes/styles etc... Probably easier to find a wrecked D3/4 and cut a few of them off for spares.
