    2.7TD Engine oil cooler replacement

Just before I tackled replacing the oil cooler I had a search through youtube to see if I could get an idea of the job. Couldnt find anything so I thought I'd do my own video. I've just finished the first part and uploaded it, still working on the remainder which I'll post ASAP

Hopefully someone finds some benefit of these. Its my first time making videos so its a little rough around the edges, but we gotta start somewhere

    All my Xmas wishes answered!

    You are a superstar.

Likewise I could not find a video on this process anywhere.

Possibly seeing how oily it is before starting disassembly do you think could hit the valley with degreaser and wash it out first?

Mate! If I’d seen that bit on removing the crankcase oil separator it’d have knocked a couple of hours off my HPFP job. Nicely put together.

My first attempt at removing it saw me fail - but it was 11 at night so I was probably too tired at the time to really think about it. I remember I thought that it would be impossible. Then tried it the next day with fresh eyes and it was out before I knew it

Yes I had built this part of the job up into mission impossible. I thought there was some very hard to access hose clamps? I have bought the special hose clamp tool on an extension cable in readiness.

Now to find the fuel hose quick connector ends as probably worth replacing those by sounds.

I reckon so, although I think it would be a good idea to have a way of sucking out the water from the valley first otherwise you'd risk getting more water into the engine oil
