I ordered from Island 4x4 in the UK, seemed to be the beat price for cooler filter and gasket Gen LR

😁 thankfully no. forewarned went slowly slowly with everything crossed
Very helpful videos Shane and at least the cooler positioning isn't as bad as a Freelander V6's, in the valley of the vee covered in cooling water, like an Opel/ Holden/ Vauxhall 3.2 L V6!
Did this crappy job yesterday!
All went according to plan except I have a bunch of brittle connectors and a broken fuel QD.
The connectors are an easy fix, I'll buy some harness wrap and wrap them. Mainly it was the connector shells so, the conductors are ok.
The fuel QD is a bugger. The blue lock tab just crumbled. It was the first one I disconnected as it's the front one on the oil cooler!
Next to no chance getting one today, being Sunday!
Oh well. It's a waiting game now.
Cheers

Hey mate, I've got a set of fuel disconnect here, I bought them to build a fuel pressure tester for my nephew's car, but his new pump turned up first.
Happy to help out and send them up if you need them. If it's just the blue lock tab get the biggest zip tie that fits in the slot and pass it through the connector. Pm if you want my number. The electrical connectors are easy to come by too.. My rail pressure sensor did the same when I did my manifold
Can you please post where you get these QD from as you can’t buy individually from LR Shane found out.
I’m rebuilding an 89 325is BMW and every electrical plug on the engine below manifold height disintegrates on touch. All plugs can still be bought new fortunately so getting some great practice for the Disco when time comes.
