    Disco 3 assembly

Hi all, I have just acquired an '05 Discovery 3 with electrical problems. Before I get into the electrics I need to reassemble the instrument panel and dash. Can anyone recommend a good source for a parts book?
Also the VIN code sticker (and any other stickers) are missing from the bonnet slam panel. Where else could I find the paint code? There is no obvious information on the ADR compliance plate.
Last for now are there any members near Diamond Creek, Vic who could allow me to look at their dash assembly? Thanks in advance - Dave.

    Hi airmech,
If you go to DISCO3.CO.UK - Index, just under there banner you will see WIKI.
Tap on that and scroll down and you will see a workshop manual you can download.
There,s also lots of other info that may be of help.

    cheers

    Disco 3 assembly

Thanks guys for the replies. I have purchased the workshop manual from the AULRO shop, but I was hoping to get some more detailed breakdowns of the dash and fascia assembly. I have a pile of panels and a bucket of screws! The location of the bigger parts is relatively obvious, however there are some steel brackets that are a bit of a mystery.

While you are in there you should replace the heater core and air conditioning equivalent. Cheap parts that fail with age and are a devil to get to. Please take some pictures or a how to if you do.

The parts diagrams in LR Cat may give you some clues. Example of the diagram for the internal instrument panel parts:

Thanks for the link. I thought that I would have to brush up my high-school Russian - until I found the translate button.

Actually the English translation should be in brackets after the Russian.
