Because you can say tyre and tire and they both are technically correct depending on where you are, but even if you in Australia tire still makes sense. But NOR has a different meaning to NOT. But I don't point out useless **** like that. So I can make as many errors as possible
Thank you pointing out my typo error.

Is there some club rule that defines how much one should contribute?
I will point out that there is a rule about courtesy to fellow members/users which you seemed to have forgotten on this occasion.
I guess you will notch this one up to another of your ‘contributions’. Cheers.

have been meaning to put this up for a while, being in Melb now have a bit of time on my hands.

I made this tyre removal thing some time ago for a 5 stud Toyota wheel and have since modified it to suit the D4 stud pattern.

I am happy with the height of the LR hitch when towing, however need to put it in off road height for the wheel to fit. After breaking the bead on my "Tuff Ant" steels, put the wheel on and run the tyre leaver around. Works a treat and saves damaging the rim, I use Tyre Pliers to break the bead and it worked fine after extending the adjustable shoe end to match the larger wheel diameter, I extended it by about 40mm. This way it pushes down in a more vertical direction and was fine. I have a set of LR 19s so might try it some day.

Appologies for bring the thread back on topic....

Tyre levers are spelled "levers" not leavers which is used to describe someone leaving somewhere like school or the pub etc.

I disagree. Spelled is a more common American English term.

"Spelt" just looks so common to me and I never use it.....
I don't much care about any of it really, boot v trunks, hood v bonnet etc, but bad spelling is too much but all good for a laugh and to get the spelling pedants writing.

You should not be using double quotation marks for a single quote - for single quote you should be using single quote marks 'Spelt' - double quote marks " are used when making a quote with a quote inside it.
