    Folks,

Whats the go to battery for cranking? My 2019 (power agm NPCI-SS100H) has given up the ghost today, around 9v remaining, just as well survived the Kimberley trip a month back. Strange, drove fine over the weekend.

    Hope is not the alternator.

    Cheers.

    What price were you quoted?
    It’s more than just “size”.

    Alektro? One year warranty?

    Only use an AGM.

Din85L doesn’t have anywhere near the required CCA or RC. I cannot believe they even recommended them.

Varta or SSB would be the only ones I’d consider.

I suggest contacting this guy and seeing when he will have stock.

    Sent a message.

    Which varta do you recommend.

Can’t get the car to even crank, so a supplier in Perth is best.

Can’t even crank with the hvt50D using jumper’s.

Couldnt source either of those options, so I went with an Exide Evolution SSAGM-88EU Start/Stop 850CCA, 160RC, 92AH from Battery Plus.

Not so much for the OP - but general info.

I second using 4wdExtreme. Ordered an SS75Ti battery for the wife’s car and it was sent same day and delivered interstate within 48 hours.

You can also get the SSB batteries direct from them via TheBatteryStore.com.au. I ordered an SS88Ti battery and it was also delivered direct from SSB in 3 working days (which included 2 days to process the order).

The SSB AGM Ti batteries also come with a 36 month warranty when used in non-stop-start vehicles.
