    Torque Convertor

My 08 disco just cracked the 200km and on recent trip was hunting between 1600 + 2000 rpm , not pulling up the hills towing camper .
Got home and had it scanned with torque convertor fault , now i just need to replace , where is the best place to get one from ?
    Yes trans serviced at 160km

You probably won't find just a torque converter unless you buy new at a huge cost. You will be able to get your torque converter rebuilt. I just had 1 rebuilt for $400. It may also need a new set of solenoids and definitely would benefit from a new bridge seal and pack seals.
It doesn't leak oil, Its sweating power

+1 what woko said. Search for the Gen 2 Zip kit from Sonnax, new bridge seals and solenoids from ZF.
Hardest part will be getting the transmission out and back in.

Depends on the year and transmission. My December 10 D4 built runs a ZF6HP28 6 speed that requires the Gen 2 kit

    06 have a gen 1.
As Eric said, zip kit is a good idea but looking like you will have to remove the metatronics to see what generation you have. You also will need to do this to see what separator plate is fitted. There are a few versions of those also. My 06 has a 052 separator plate

Nope. You have to pull it to be sure which plate is required. I just bought both so I knew I had what was needed.
