Gear box clunk - Dr Tranny?

I've got a clunk on take off and a slight up hill shudder at the moment in my 05 TDV6. I had the pan replaced and only a single flush done last year. I was thinking of adding some Dr Tranny in before contemplating saving for a new gear box. Has this worked decently for others? How do you get it in? Should I get a double flush done instead?

IMHO your valve body needs an overhaul, the clunk is from wear in the valve lines and bypass causing loss of fluid pressure. A full flush with new fluid to follow.

Products like Dr tranny simply prolong the inevitable by masking the effects.

Simply chucking new fluid in it won't solve the problem(s).
