Thread: D4 Door Trim repair?

    x7 or x8, or however many others have already replied...

    I recall seeing another thread where the door card was replaced - this seemed to be the best, most attractive and permanent (and costly) solution...
    D4 3.0L SE, MY10, Arctic White
    ARB Colour-coded bullbar, Safari Snorkel, Traxide DBS, LRBT1 BT audio module, trying out some 19" Maxxis Bravo 980A/T's (ex Cooper Zeon LTZ's)
    ex D1 2.5L 300Tdi, MY97 - loved it, gone to a better place.

    When not driving mine lives out of the sun. I notice a huge difference between it and others of similar age inside and out which is no surprise.

    Compared to other cars the inside is in amazing condition for age but I have pov pack SE.

    Worst ever we had a late 90s Volvo V70. The inside basically self destructed before 10 years. Seats split on the seams and door cards the vinyl shrank and pulled away from the card. Every button turned tacky and window switches fell apart. ABS unit failed. What a POS.

    And I never use poisons like Armourall in any car I own.

    HI Chatterbox, in Perth I am very happy with the repair to my door sill carried out by Colin from New Life, Vinyl & Leather Repair, 0418 691 248 Car Leather, Plastic & Vinyl Restoration | New Life Repairs Some time back I hope he is still in operation, very good outcome.
