My understanding is that the power difference between TDV6 and SDV6 is software only. There are no parts/hardware differences. A TDV6 can be tuned/flashed to SDV6 specs.

Exactly. Well worth it too - also deletes the EGR, and sets the engine up to deliver more than the stock sdv6
