    The End of my D3!

Yesterday, at about 1.30pm my world got turned sideways at around 80 to 100kph!
Hit the guard rail on a corner, and rolled onto its side.
Needless to say it is totally, but I suspect that the strength of the vehicle saved my wife and I.
We are both OK with some bruises and aches, but we were checked out at 2 hospitals and eventually got home around 11pm.
I don't remember much other that the noise of the impact and the bloody airbags from which I'm still coughing - but its a small price to pay for what they did.
It was a 2006 V6 petrol with 170,000 km on it.
    Now looking for a replacement petrol V6 or V8, D3 or D4.

The car was fully insured with the RAA and we are now waiting for the blood tests to come back (will be negative) and the write off assessor to "write it off".
The local CFS/SES were fantastic as well as the Ambos and Police and people of Tarlee in mid north SA.

Glad you’re ok. What led up to the impact with the guardrail?

Wowza I've heard a punch in the fact with an airbag is confronting. Glad you are both ok and the sacrificial cocoon did what it was designed to do.

Glad you are ok, nothing better on the road if you are unlucky to be in an accident.
