I believe the quoted data is ok, not sure of the reality of it.
The quoted 4000 cycles (quoted as full cycles) and 7 years would equate to 1.56 Full discharge cycles a day for that 7 years.
Thats plausable.
The specs for that battery just don't add up.
It states you can get 4,000 cycles but it also states the life span is "Up to 7 years"
So if you use the battery at their recommended maximum specs, you only get less than 1,300 cycles before the battery is done, and that is if it actually lasts 7 years.
Seriously, the ACCC needs to look into the lithium battery industry, it is pretty dishonest at best.

Pretty common approach I would think? New EV cars have up to 500km of range, New laptops are up to 3x quicker, new light bulbs are up to 80% more efficient, etc etc
An alternative wording could be 'won't be more than'![]()
