The specs for that battery just don't add up.

It states you can get 4,000 cycles but it also states the life span is "Up to 7 years"

So if you use the battery at their recommended maximum specs, you only get less than 1,300 cycles before the battery is done, and that is if it actually lasts 7 years.

Seriously, the ACCC needs to look into the lithium battery industry, it is pretty dishonest at best.

I believe the quoted data is ok, not sure of the reality of it.

The quoted 4000 cycles (quoted as full cycles) and 7 years would equate to 1.56 Full discharge cycles a day for that 7 years.

    Thats plausable.

It's always interestng when these sorts of comments come up from manufacturers, not just batteries.

    It really means nothing.

Pretty common approach I would think? New EV cars have up to 500km of range, New laptops are up to 3x quicker, new light bulbs are up to 80% more efficient, etc etc

An alternative wording could be 'won't be more than'
2010 TDV6 3.0L Discovery 4 SE remapped to RRS output, Alaska White, GME XRS-330c, IIDTool BT, Dual Battery, Apple CarPlay, OEM Retrofitted: Cornering lights, Door card lights, Power + Heated Seats, Logic 7 audio
