So if not doing something as simple as Redtail is planning, you can charge via the white plug either with a battery charger on a timer, a smart charger with storage mode option left permanently connected, or a remote solar panel with a solar controller.

Easy to then disconnect when need to move car.

More or les what I used to do prior to adding the solar panels on the roof rack.

Anything over a month and batteries can self discharge and if the batteries are not in a real good condition, they could self discharge quite quickly and this can lead to flat batteries, even if they were fully charged at the time you disconnect them.

At the risk of going off topic, and not being a fan of the lithium mob that seem to advertise everywhere elsewhere, CMCA RV club has a new contact with Voltx lithium batteries - anyone know anything about them?

Hi again Gavin, while that is a cheap battery, it is just that.

Going on those specs, it's not a battery I would buy.

Can you please detail which of these specs, in your opinion, means they’re no good?

Hi Disco, I did not say it was no good, it just has very ordinary specs but the 7 year life expectancy is not much better that good quality lead acid batteries.

Plus there are 100Ah lithium batteries with similar to better charge and discharge specs.

As posted, not a battery I would buy.

My point was you’re not educating anyone by saying, it’s cheap and you’d not buy. Why? What should people be looking for? Example of a better battery?

Hi again Disco and I have covered this in detail, here is a link to the thread.

How do you select the best value Lithium Battery?
