			Disco 3 V8 Engine mount replacement

					In the interest of spreading the knowledge...

 My Lr3 V8 had a broken engine mount. I called a couple of LR specialist and they were puzzled as they hadn't come across the an broken engine mount before, as such couldn't accurately quote. But guessed a full body or engine removal. As such I decide to do the job myself.

 For the forum members information you can replace the mounts with the body on and engine in via the following steps;

 Undo top nuts on engine mount with every extension in your tool box.
 Take engine weight with engine crane and scales. Raise engine watching scales like a hawk, once the scales go up you are touching the transmission on the tunnel.
 Remove a ****load of heat shielding.
 R/H engine mount come out fairly easy out the bottom
 L/H engine mount had me scratching my head!
 Undo Fwd diff mounts dropping the forward diff as far as the drive shafts will allow.
 Use your tetris skills to get the engine mount out along the subframe. It came out near the fwd prop shaft.

 Hope this helps!

 Cheers Pottsy
