    DIscovery 4 2.7L - PO23D Error - sensor A correlation reading

    Team,
I’m getting a Restricted Performance error on my Discovery 2011 D4 2.7L and a P023D – Manifold absolutes pressure -turbocharger sensor A correlation reading.

I’ve replaced the Air intake sensor and cleaned the MAF sensor. All went well for a while, but the error comes back intermittently.

The Air Duct also has a crack where it connects to the air filter box, although it’s not cracked right through the duck and that area is wet. Could this be the issue even though it not cracked right though the duct? All other part of the engine is dry.

Thanks for the assistance in advance 😊

This error relates to the pressure side of the equation, not the intake.

I’d suggest you have a leak in an intercooler pipe on a 2.7L engine

    Thanks YarnMaster

I'll take the easy option and change the larger Intercooler pipe first - fingers crossed.

Also look over the intercooler for signs of oil.
That is a sure thing it is leaking.
A loose hose does the same.

    Thumbs up

I replaced the Intercooler hose this morning - no more error and no more black smoke!

    Thank you all
