Also, the o ring that seats in the throttle body to intake 90deg bend is hard to seat correctly, and the plastic of that bend piece (that holds the MAP) also fails there, leading to cracks thst open under boost, you lose pressure etc.
Replace the 90 deg intake part with genuine is the only option there.

Have you worked-out what caused the hole? Is an EGR valve leaking badly under load when it should be closed thereby causing hot exhaust to melt the hole?

SupporterWell done Graeme took the disco to my Indi, marvelous fella found the EGR valve broken and losing boost . new/old Egr and a blanking plate fitted all fixed again
