So you picked it up, got it home and now it won’t start???
My sdv6 not starting after inlet manifold replaced by local mechanic. Currently charging the battery over night in case it needs full charge battery.
No leak from injectors pipe as well.
Anyone could give us pointers what to look for next? Thanks

						SubscriberAssuming you’re suggesting you and the mechanic are struggling to start it (I won’t go into whether this mechanic knows anything about a Land Rover), when I did mine it took a long time to get the high pressure fuel system going, which ate the battery, and despite it cranking, there wasn’t enough voltage to get it to start. I ended up ordering a new battery as even charging it couldn’t get it done.
Also even a microscopic leak will bleed off enough pressure for it not to start. You said this wasn’t an issue so I trust you.

						SubscriberThey run at stupid pressure and use very small amounts of fuel to obtain that. Yes a small leak will kill the pressure and if the pump doesn’t get the pressure in the gallery it’s commanding, it won’t start because it won’t begin firing the injectors.
Triple check you have no leaks. I assume you didn’t replace the injector pipes as per the manual, so even more need to ensure you have a good fit.
