Simple things first, is the brake properly adjusted? How urgent is the repair, I rarely use the parking brake, admittedly mine's not electric.

I have a 2013 Discovery 4 TDV6. Just recently the warning lights on the dash show that the parkbrake has a fault and indeed it does. My problem is that when pulling to EPB switch, the paarkbrake does NOT engage which I guess, is better than it locking on. Cheapest things first, I replaced the EPB switch with a new part but that didn’t fix the problem. The vehicle drives really well but what could be causing the parking brake to not engage?
Cheers

If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Super ModeratorDo you have access to a diagnostic tool? The car is actually really good at telling you what is wrong with it, you just need the tools to read the faults.
