Edit,the alarm will go off if the door is opened from inside,when the vehicle is locked,like most vehicles,so the thief either disabled the alarm,or climbed through the broken window.

Canbus tools are cheap on the web, not a controlled item - theyre the type used by locksmiths...

Kind of like lock picking tools and people like the "Lock picking lawyer" who then show everyone how to do it


I have all the gear here to do what they do. Its scarily easy.

LPL, BosnianBill and a misspent childhood taught me all I know.... Locks are easy. Haven't ventured down the CanBus path.

LPL sells high quality tools to defeat almost any lock. It just needs an understanding, and practice.
