    D4 electrics - anyone know why?

    Does anyone know why the voltage reading appears in the D4 dash from time to time?

    Not frequent, but otherwise appears to be completely random. I do have a CIG to USBs powerboard which displays voltage on the CIG head.

    RRC MY95 LSE Vogue Softdash "Bessie" with MY99 TD5 and 4HP24 transplants
    SADLY SOLD MY04 D2a TD5 auto and MY10 D4 2.7 both with lots of goodies

    Do you have a GAP tool plugged in? That brings it up

    Good Point. At the moment the GapTool is plugged in but not activated, but I'm pretty sure it's happened in the past with no GapTool in the car.

    It is the GAP tool. That’s a feature of it.

    On the D3 it shows the vehicle L319 and the voltage when the tool is plugged, that's when you know its ready for the app to sync to it.

    I was wrong and you were right.
    Installed but unconnected = voltage displayed,
    Connected = no dashboard voltage display
