    Welcome to the D3/4/RRS Zone.

Welcome folks, although this is a section primarily devoted to all things relating to Discover 3s, we will also be catering for Range Rover Sports related issues as well.

If you have a project underway or would like info on getting a project going for your D3, this is the place to post and/or ask.

If you have a problem or know of a solution to someone else’s problem, post away.

Note a thread is note related to the subject base of the section it will most likely be moved to the appropriate section or removed all together.

Last but not least, a big thanks to Incisor for making this area available to the D3 owners

    Cheers all and welcome aboard.

    Bewdy and thanks.
Next thing, you blokes will start to return wave at us !
For anyone interested re RRS I have had 3 issues fixed under warranty.(free of charge )
Juddering wipers. Gearbox remap (recent tsb) and new instrument panel which fixed some cruise control and speed minder issues.
I have found that some dealers are not up to date with their tsb's so if you have any questions I also have access to the GTR. and will attempt to pass on as much information as I can.
    tsb=technical service bulletins.
GTR=Land Rover's on line (by subscription ) manuals...Global Technical Resource
    Cheers...Peter

BTW folks, just carrying on from ivery819’s post, if you know of other D3 specific sites please post links to them so we can all share the info.

This D3 UK site is one of the primer D3 sites in the world and they have an Australian section on the site, so go and wave the flag.

    Cheers.

    To Drivesafe and Inc,

Thank you for making the D3 Zone for us D3 an RRS owners.

I've had my D3 since April 05 (Build date Feb 05) so it is one of the early shipments from the UK and has had a number of early build problems but nothing that hasn't been fixed.

Here is a US LR3 forum which is okay to get a US perspective on their vehicles (not as extensive as the UK forum but still has some useful info).

    Thumbs up

    Thanks Drivesafe and Inc,
Great Idea having our own section. With still relatively few D3 owners compared to D1,D2,Defender and Series owners, some of our D3 posts could get lost in the huge volume of general LR conversation. Will still use the UK site as well, but this might be better for sharing ideas for the way we do things here in OZ.

My D3 was a May '05 Build, Delivered July '05. Suffered from most of the early problems, over 23 trips back to the dealer for warranty claims, but all fixed and been going well for some time now.

    Funny you should post that.

My RR has got to be the most unreliable vehicle I have ever owned, and I’ve had some bombs, but the D3 is proving to be one of the most reliable vehicles.
