    Welcome Paul.

Have a look at the GCLRO pages, we need some more active D3 owners.

    Cheers.

    Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and just wanted to say hi. I've already read many of the threads, added to a couple and learnt heaps including finding a solution for a dual battery setup. My HSE TDV6 is my 4th 4x4 child (Pajero SWB petrol, GQ Patrol diesel, Parejo LWB petrol) and is now a bit over 12 months old with no problems and I am very happy! The buying decision was easy when during a test drive SWMBO just said "Buy it!".
We haven't really run it through its paces yet, but are off camping to the beach and dunes north of Perth this OZ day long w/e.
    See you around!

Hi AndrewM, sorry mate only just noticed your post.

Welcome and hope your getting all the info you are after and good to see you are posting as well.

You should be able to find some other in WA to organise some trips so you can really get the feel of your D3.

    Cheers

Recently registered here having discovered this forum while researching faults in our TDV6 (cruise control, imperial read out etc...)

Anyway we have just purchased an 01/09 TDV6 SE to replace our 03/05 TDV6 at 99000km SE. Surprisingly (or probably unsurprisingly) the '09 was less expensive and came with options we didn't have on the earlier car.

We have had LR in various forms for about 20 years starting with a '73 RR in 1989

Looks like there is a wealth of experience in this forum.

    cheers

    Greg

    Welcome wirrah

I have noticed the price and specs too. Unfortunately cannot justify a new one at the moment. Keeping mine with an extended warranty.

Have you also joined DISCO3.CO.UK - Dedicated to Discovery 3 and LR3 Owners and Enthusiasts ? If we can't find the answer here you will probably find an expert there.

    Hi all
Thought it time to say hello as have been member since Feb, also Disco3.co.uk. Great help in deciding on buying a D3. Got my '09 TDV6 S with active rear diff 4 weeks ago. Fantastic vehicle! Previously had Patrols but some years ago. No comparison!!
Using the site to work out what extras to add,(budget permitting) really helpful, thanks.
    Cheers
    Martin
