Might be a sticky external temp sensor, your climate control works off this, well it does in the D2.

I always recommend leaving the system on auto to heat, as this ensures that windscreens don't fog up, as the air con removes unnecessary moisture from the air as the air heats up.

So, to heat, aircon on if any chance of condensation forming on the windows.

When you turn the knobs all the way to the right plenty of hot air comes out but at anything less than full blast it gets chilly. Engine temperature reads normal and the problem is still there after 30 minutes running. Climate control seems to work fine on cool as I've never needed to ajust temperature until now.

There is a known (minor) issue with the D3 heating system which I call the "cold feet syndrome"! Basically it doesn't pipe enough heat to the front passenger footwells when set to automatic mode. You can resolve this yourself by sending more air to the footwells with the manual buttons / fan control.

LR know about this, and as for nearly everything related to the D3 there is a software fix that cures the problem if you mention it to your dealer.

The AC is automatic. You shouldn't need to turn it to econ to turn it off.

    Cheers, Steve
They've applied the latest software patches to your ECU then
