    Warning Chimes and Indicator "Tick"

Just wondering if anyone has lost there warning chimes and indicator tick before. Everything works ok but the sound has gone. I dont have any idea what would cause it. I have been informed that it is electronically generated from the instument pack by the guys on disco3.com. If anyone has come across it do they know what may cause it or the cost to repair. Warranty ended 7 weeks ago so may have to come out of my own pocket.

    Cheers

I'd love to turn ff that bloody chime! But seriously, I've no ideas to help you. You could reboot, might help.

Its an eerie silence in the disco. Looks like it may require replacement of the instrument cluster. Just have to try and get to the dealer at some stage.

Have you considered the old " disconnect the battery" and see if
    it resets again. ?

Looks like a trip to the Dealer for a software check
The sound is computer generated as 10FC said on Disco3.
You won't escape with less than $150 for that visit.

Thought that may be the case. Now the manufacturers waranty has run out it looks like its time to test out the extended warranty I purchased with the car and see if it was worth it.

Do you mean the seatbelt chime? There is a procedure on d3.co.uk. You turn on the ignition and hold down the seatbelt release button. Then insert and remove the seatbelt 20-30 times as quickly as you can. Believe it or not it works.

Now how do I remove the "slow down or vehicle will lower" chime?

No not yet. Cant get to the dealer until next Friday. Will let you know the outcome once the dealer has had a look at it.
