Thread: Loadspace Mats/Other Options

Two things I'd suggest is rubber matting from the likes of Clark Rubber, you can buy it by the metre and various widths or car/marine carpet again by the metre.

Clark rubber make a generic rubber mat for the load area, It's ridge pattern makes it very easy to trim to get a good fit. Best of all it was 1/4 the price of a custom mat.

I got one from supercheap which is a trim to fit one. Works perfectly and didn't cost much.

Agree with the above. You can cut it to the exact shape and cheaper than a loadspace liner.
I used it for rubber mats for the rest of the D3, made templates and covered all the flor incl. under the seats. I just hve to brush out the dirt.

The rear mat is from Super Cheap. Fits perfectly, you just need to cut holes for the anchor points.


I used the same mat for the back seat and 3rd row of seats. For the second row I cut it to be one piece which is a bugger to get in and out but it works well. This leave an offcut perfect for the floor in front of the 3rd row.

Depends what you want...

If you want something cheap & cheerful then go with what the others have said. If you want something a little bit tastier... There's some genuine part options available ranging from purpose made rubber mats to slide out shelves for the boot (which I personally quite like as the D3 boot is rather deep!!).

Thanks all for the thoughts.

Given I recently purchased the D3, funds are rather stretched at the moment, so off to Supercheap I go.

Luckily the car already has the front and 2nd row mats, so it is really only the luggage area and third row.
